Brian Wilson has just talked about the larger context -- the appearance of real progress in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict taking place in conjunction with the Iraqi elections. This, we must remember, was the larger goal of the Iraqi intervention -- to create a new dynamic throughout the Middle East. Here's hoping that what was set in motion today in Iraq will have a profound effect elsewhere.
