The news saddens me and brings back so many memories -- the clinch with Burt Lancaster in the surf in "From Here to Eternity"; the missed meeting at the top of the Empire State Building in "An Affair to Remember"; the meeting with Yul Brynner's King of Siam in "The King and I" and so many more.
