We didn't tarry long. We still had a long way to go. So back onto the bus and on toward our destination -- Douz, where after many hours we checked into our hotel, had dinner, and [in my case] got in some serious pool time.
To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Tunisia Trip -- Part Twenty Six
Our next stop was in the middle of the Chott el Jerid, the largest salt lake in the Sahara, covering approximately 7,000 square miles. It's a vast and desolate landscape that has been used in several films, most famously in Star Wars.
