Support for the EU Constitution is Collapsing in Denmark

Britain is not the only place that is thinking about calling off its ratification referendum.

The Copenhagen Post reports:

Support for the new EU treaty is waning in Denmark after Dutch and French voters rejected the treaty earlier this week. 40 percent of voters are against the treaty, compared with 31 percent who plan to say yes.

Denmark has turned against the new European Union constitutional treaty. Three opinion polls reveal Danish attitudes toward the new EU treaty shifting dramatically since Dutch and French voters rejected the treaty earlier this week.
....

The Danish People's Party, which opposes the treaty... has called upon the government to call off
Denmark's referendum....

Not at all surprising. The attempt to ramrod this abominable mess through depended entirely on momentum and a sense of inevitability. Now that is gone, and the future for the Constitution in its present form looks bleak.

It looks like it's back to the drawing boards guys.

Read about it here.
