Turkish Troops Move Into Iraq

A few thousand Turkish troops, responding to Kurdish acts of terrorism, have moved into northern Iraq and seem determined to remain there. These invaders are backed up by tens of thousands of Turkish troops who have moved up to the border.

This is scary stuff -- if all sides are not careful it could easily escalate into the all-out regional war that has long been predicted. The Kurds are playing with fire and must be reined in. Official US sources deny that anything has happened, but the reports are many and credible.

Pajamas Media is all over this one. [here]

UPDATE:

Well, now, it seems that not just US forces, but also the White House, the Turkish government, and the Iraqi government are denying that any invasion took place. Interesting.
