To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Picture Of the Week
As I navigate the net I often come across pictures by contemporary artists that for some reason appeal to me. This is one of them. It's an oil titled "Asha" by Hye Seong Yoon (San Francisco, CA) that won an honorable mention in the Salon competition by the Art Renewal Center this year [here]. Most of the stuff in the file is pretty insipid, but this one really stood out. I thought I'd share it with my readers.
