Zimbabwe Update -- Disappearances

Mad Bobby Mugabe has moved his campaign to utterly eradicate any source of dissent onto a new level. M&C News reports:

Harare/Johannesburg - The whereabouts of nine Zimbabwean opposition activists was unknown Sunday after a late-night raid on their hospital by a group of soldiers, an opposition spokesman said.

The activists were being treated at a private clinic in central Harare for beatings sustained while in police custody. They were arrested Tuesday and Wednesday during raids on their homes and on the headquarters of their Movement for Democratic Change (MDC).
