To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

After the Rains
Driving through the Pennsylvania mountains after a couple of days of rain, I saw this. It's just a road cut, but I was struck by the curve of the mounds and the trees.
Turning south I almost immediately came upon this. A lone tree emerging from the mist.
This is for Lucille, a dear friend who has an extravagant affection for red barns.
