To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Tunisia Trip -- Part Thirty Eight
After lunch we proceeded to our next destination, the city of El Jem [Djem], once a thriving Roman settlement of Thysdrus (after Carthage the most significant in Africa). The great attraction there, of course, is the amphitheater [more on that later], but first we checked out the local mosaic museum. Here's a tiny bit of what we saw.
