BBC has announced the name of the new Dr. Who. He is Matt Smith, who will replace David Tennant in 2010. Very young (26) and basically a stage actor he has had very limited exposure in film and TV -- that's going to change. The series is also changing writers and producers and promises a fresh approach to the adventures of the Whovians' favorite Time Lord. That's good news.
