The NYT, of all rags, has a nice piece on "availability entrepreneurs" who systematically misinterpret phenomena to support their ideological or careerist biases. Who is the most conspicuous practitioner of this malignant misrepresentation of reality? Why, it's Al Gore, of course, although you could have pointed to nearly any figure on the Left.
