To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Metropolis Discovered
For those of us who have have an abiding interest in the history of film this is a really big thing. A copy of the original version of Fritz Lang's Metropolis has been found in Argentina. For eight decades we have only had a truncated copy of one of the most influential films ever made. Now it can be viewed in its full, three-hour glory.
