To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

The Face of Pure Evil
It just doesn't get any worse than this. Read AP's interview with the woman who trains other women to be suicide bombers [here].
Here's the technique. Insurgents rape and sexually abuse a woman who is then declared unclean and shunned by her friends and family. Perhaps they threaten to kill her for having disgraced the family honor. Then the "broken" woman is sent to "The Mother of Believers" for counseling.
And what does she counsel? She tells the woman that the only way to regain her, and her family's honor, is to offer herself as a suicide bomber.
Pure, distilled evil!
