Like all Chinese cities Nanjing displays a fascinating mix of extremely modern and traditional architectural styles.



And every day, everywhere, is laundry day.



And like all major cities except for Beijing and Chongqing automobiles have to share the roads with bicycles and mopeds.


And a lot of outrageously bulky or heavy loads are still moved by pedal power or on foot.
