Garrison Keillor has gone and upset James Lileks again..., hooray! James writes best when he's mad and the "old scout" can always get a rise out of him.

My favorite line: "There’s conversational writing, and then there’s just talking to yourself as you make coffee." Lileks does conversational better than anyone writing today. Keillor used to be pretty good at it, too, but now he just rambles and rails against Bush. It's sad to see a talented writer succumbing to terminal Bush Derangement Syndrome. If this keeps up soon the old scout will be as mad as Joe Klein and that is a sad thing to contemplate.
