To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Washington Tea Party Links
Nice pictures of the Washington rally over at "Looking At The Left" here.
The spinners are out in full force trying to downplay the size of the rally. Conservative sites are estimating between one and two million paticipants [Malkin has numerous links here]. The New York Times simply reports "thousands" [here] and the Washington Post has "tens of thousands" [here]. The picture above would seem to indicate that high-end estimates are closer to the truth.
[Nutroots tried to say that the picture was fake, but it wasn't].
And The American Thinker quotes a National Park Service official as saying "It is a record.... We believe it is the largest event held in Washington, D.C., ever." [here]
To get a good idea of the size of the demonstration go here.
MSNBC on Monday morning is repeating the "thousands marched" line and says that the total was "60 to 70 thousand people", to which I can only say, "you lie".
Lefties tried to portray the demonstrators as radicals and racists [here] or portrayed them as corporate stooges [here].
