BERLIN (AFP) - Hundreds of euro bills in Germany have mysteriously disintegrated in the last several months, apparently due to exposure to sulfuric acid.Read it here.
....The first case surfaced in June in Berlin when a 20-euro bill crumbled upon contact. Police first suspected a fluke but the number of "broken notes", as investigators have dubbed the bills, continued to rise in August.
This comes only two days after we were informed that the Euro was "slowly killing half of Europe." [here]
Gee, financial reporting used to be dull. Now, thanks to the Euro, it's more exciting than a Hollywood film. Come to think of it..., just about anything is more exciting than a Hollywood film.
