The New York Post reveals that Britney informed Kevin that she was getting a divorce by text message.

That's what Britney Spears was telling hubby Kevin Federline when she digitally dropped her divorce bomb on him - via text message.

Federline, 28, appeared shocked and awwww'ed Monday when he got the Blackberry breakup, a moment caught on film by a crew from Canada's MuchMusic channel that had been trailing an unwitting Fed-Ex on the road to Dumpsville.

He became visibly upset, removing his microphone and leaving for 30 minutes before returning to continue an interview, clearly shaken.

"He had no idea it was coming," a Federline pal told The Post. "In fact, he had been looking into a possible divorce. She beat him to the punch."

That tape has been playing on news channels as well as information that he is going to sue her for custody of the children [yeah, like he has any chance of winning].

Ooooh, this is starting out well. It looks like he wants a big payoff -- more than the ten million the pre-nup guarantees him. Let the games begin!
