To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

This Day In History
I almost missed this one. On this day in 1857 in the town of Derry Church, Pennsylvania, Milton Snavely Hershey was born. Read about his remarkable career as an entrepreneur, a social engineer, an educator, and a philanthropist here. Today his legacy lives on in the town of Hershey, the ubiquitous Hershey candy, the Hershey school, the Hershey Foundation, the Hershey Medical Center, the Hershey Theater, the Hershey Museum, and many more continuing institutions. Few men have done so much for so many.
