Hughes Is Set to Rejoin White House Team

Karen Hughes, longtime advisor to President Bush, is returning to Washington.

[S]ources said Hughes will not be a formal member of the White House staff but will take on a specific and particularly important assignment involving international affairs, but they would not identify it.

Verrrry Innnterrrrressssting! Condi and Karen running foreign policy. The mind boggles.

WaPo reports that Karen Hughes will be in charge of "public diplomacy." She will work out of State and will collaborate with Condi on improving America's international image.
