To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Mitt Meets Tim
Mitt Romney had a terrific performance on Meet the Press today. Ann Althouse has a critique and judges him positively "Reaganesque" (well, at least the hair).
Read her analysis here.
The comments attached to her post were not so complimentary. Basically there were two criticisms of Romney -- he's rich and he's too moderate. I don't mind that he's rich and, being a moderate myself, I'm fine with the second.
The more I see of this guy, the more I like him.
