Maryland Politics

The faces change, but the tactics remain the same.

The WaPo reports:

Baltimore Mayor Martin O'Malley yesterday accused agents of Maryland Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr.'s administration of spreading false rumors that he had an extramarital affair, and Ehrlich responded hours later by dismissing a longtime employee.

Sad.

UPDATE:

O'Malley, speaking at the National Press Club yesterday, compared President Bush's budget proposals to the 9-11 attacks. Nice move Marty! You just blew any chance of becoming governor. Read about it here.
