To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Cat Bloggery
I mentioned feral cats in an earlier post. Here are a couple of them that wandered down into our driveway just a few weeks ago. When I went outside to try to get a good picture of them, they fled into the deep woods. Maybe it's for the best. During the migration season lots of hungry eagles fly over our place and these guys are just about snack size.
