To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Sylvester vs Tweety, Part Deux
Q: When a mature bald meets a cat, what does it do?
A: Lunch.
One of my midwest correspondents, knowing my fondness for raptors, sent me this picture of a predator faceoff that cannot have a good outcome..., for the cat that is.
We have feral cats on our hill. They like to stalk songbirds, (when they're not fighting over territories, that is). This could be considered payback of a sort.
