I don't expect this to get much play on the evening news or in the New York Times, but it is certainly worthy of notice:

The Christian Science Monitor reports:
US economy's latest output: better jobs

Newest job numbers show that businesses are expanding opportunities in high-wage fields.
Read the whole thing here. Of course, this being the CSM, the good news is "contextualized" by fears that it won't last, by noting that some categories of employment are still lagging, by noting that long term employment trends stretching back a quarter century or more can be construed as problematic, etc. The usual qualifiers. Still this is good news.

Read it here.
