To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes:
"Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile;
So ere you find where light in darkness lies,
Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes."
It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Anticipations of Spring
Spent Easter at the Inner Harbor. It was a bright, clear, glorious day. Of course I took a camera with me. Signs of spring were everywhere. Winter bulbs were blooming, the Bradford Pears at the Hyatt were popping. Even a magnolia on Charles Street had started to bloom.
Meanwhile, back in the mountains, we're still waiting [although I do see plenty of robins around].
