Three major figures in al Qaeda have been killed. Dan Darling has the details here.
Didn't Richard Clarke say that our focus on Iraq meant that we couldn't chase down al Qaeda elsewhere and that our diplomacy had precluded our getting cooperation from other nations in the effort? Yeah, he did, time and again.
And, since it's become a major part of his stump speech, I bet he'll say it again and again regardless of the contrary evidence.
