After departing Stokmarknes we cruised through the Strait of Raftsundet, one of the most beautiful stretches of shoreline on our journey. A German couple I met told me that the strait is a favored vacation place for continental Europeans who rent or own summer houses along the shoreline. I could understand. Who wouldn't want to spend a few weeks in the midst of all this beauty?
