Roger Simon argues that the media should bear the brunt of the blame for the current mess. He writes:
I think it is the media that has led us into this, led the country to vote for an unprepared man with a self-destructive program. It will be interesting to see if they ever admit it.
Of course they won't. They will argue that the social and cultural benefits of electing a black president will far outweigh any economic costs.
