It was a grand weekend at the Harbor. There were tall ships, small ships, cats and dragons, and all manner of watercraft. The Volvo Ocean Race boats were in town and the celebration was built around them. The tall ship pictured is the Cisne Branco from Brazil. When I referred to "dragons" I didn't mean the paddleboats in the foreground, but to the long, low craft behind them. That's a "dragon boat" and in September the Harbor will be hosting a major race among several crews. Saturday they were just practicing.More later....
