The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Another Stalin Atrocity Monument -- the Katyn Forest Massacre
Here's another monument to Stalin's crimes -- the Katyn Forest Martyrs memorial in Baltimore. The Katyn Forest Massacre was the systematic execution of 27,000 Polish prisoners on Stalin's express orders. The Soviet Union denied responsibility for this atrocity until 1989.
