To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Ulrich Speck on German Foreign Policy
A few days ago I made reference to comments made by Ulrich Speck regarding George Bush's recent European trip and highly recommended his Kosmoblog [in German]. Now American Future posts an English translation of Speck's analysis of German foreign policy. Read it here. It has some interesting, and uncomplimentary, things to say about the "Frankenreich."
