To clarify: the title is excerpted from Act 1 of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The full quote goes: "Light, seeking light, doth light of light beguile; So ere you find where light in darkness lies, Your light grows dark by losing of your eyes." It's a warning against spending too much of your life in scholarly pursuits.

Stalin already has an appropriate monument -- this is it, the Road of Bones
"Road of Bones" is a 2000 kilometers long road from Magadan to Yakutsk through the coldes Siberia. It was build by the prisoners during the Stalin era. The midway of this road locates in Tomtor. It is said that every meter of the road required a life. In places you can see remains of the camps called "gulags" - camps where the prisoners building the road stayed.
